Meet Hank!

This little globetrotter has quite the story to tell. Hank came to us as a transfer from another shelter that was short on space—but that’s not where his journey began. Before that, this brave boy was rescued all the way from Korea, where he was found living on the streets. Talk about a world traveler.

When Hank first arrived, he was a bit shy (understandable after all that adventure), but he’s been blossoming every day—making new friends among staff and volunteers and showing off his sweet, curious side.

Hank’s future family can expect to help him keep learning the ropes of being a pampered house pup—things like leash walking, house training, and of course, the very important art of playing with toys. Meet Finn!

He is five years old and came to us as an owner surrender when they were no longer able to care for him. He is a friendly, sweet, but shy boy, who loves attention. Once he knows you, he may ask to be petted. Finn spent a lot of time in a foster home while he was recovering. His fosters say he warms up very quickly in the home and became quite the work from home buddy for his foster mom. Finn does still have Hypercalcemia (otherwise known as elevated calcium) so we are happy to talk to interested adopters on what this looks like for Finn’s future. Pudge, unlike the fish from Lilo & Stitch, does not require peanut butter to control the weather — however, he does want tons of love and attention! Pudge is five years old and came to us as a return when he had medical concerns that his previous owners couldn’t manage. He had allergies and his skin was inflamed severely. From there, he was given foot soaks after walks and wore a sweater outside – but with some time, his skin finally calmed down enough for him to be made available.

Pudge is a sweet but high energy boy who enjoys all the attention from his people. He does pull on leash so he could benefit from learning some leash manners and positive reinforcement training.
